Frequently Asked Questions

What are your biscuits made from?

We provide a full ingredients list with every order. Our biscuits are made from wheat flour, butter (milk), sugar and eggs. They may also have additional flavours depending on which you choose including vanilla extract, almond oil, natural raspberry flavouring, orange extract and lemon extract. We use both fondant icing and royal icing to decorate our biscuits, and also edible icing sheets with edible inks.  

Every order will have the full ingredients list enclosed, and we can provide ingredients in advance if required. 

Our ingredients labelling clearly lists the allergens in our products. These include, but are not limited to WHEAT, butter (MILK) and EGG. We operate in an environment where nuts and seeds are present, so even if your order does not include these ingredients, they may be in all of our products. Please contact us with any questions. 

We package our gift wrapped biscuits securely and send them via Royal Mail. We normally send first class and under each product details, you can see if the items fits within a large letter size (fitting most UK letterboxes). We can also send bigger packages by Royal Mail, or by courier.

Please note, some of these options will require someone to physically receive the order and we cannot recall orders once they are dispatched. Please note, we can only deliver when Royal Mail delivers and please bear this in mind if you are posting for a special event such as Christmas or an event that falls on a Sunday e.g. Mother’s Day. If your order is a larger, bespoke order, or you are looking for a guaranteed delivery date, please contact us for prices. Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to sign/accept the delivery if it is being sent by a service that requires this. 

We aim to dispatch each order within 3 working days (Mon-Fri), although as we bake and create every order from scratch, we will advise you at the time of booking if this is not possible. With first class mail, once they are dispatched they should reach you in 1-2 working days. If you need to try and get a gift delivered within a shorter time frame, please contact us to see if we can help!
You will need to pay when placing the order, as we don’t start baking until payment is received. If it is a particularly large order (wedding favours or similar) we may require a 50% deposit whilst making the order, and then full payment before delivery.
If they are stored in an airtight container, they last 4-6 weeks. However, they taste amazing so it is unlikely they will hang round this long…!
We LOVE making biscuits and are always developing new creative ideas, and flavour combinations. If there is an event, or an idea you have for your biscuits, please get in touch and we will work with you to create your dream biscuits! Please factor in lead times for larger and bespoke orders. We require a 3 week lead time on orders over 50 biscuits. Please ask us, as we can sometimes produce a large order more quickly than this.
We can offer a charegable sample service which can be reclaimed against the full order. Please factor in baking, delivery and adjustment times for any samples. 
Please note, all of our biscuits are individually hand crafted, and therefore variations in size, colour and appearance may occur between biscuits. 
We require artwork to be provided to us in a high res format.
It is your responsibility to ensure that we have the right to use any image logo or design that you ask us to reproduce and that such reproduction will not infringe any other rights, such as a trade mark, of any person or a duty owed to any person, such as a duty of confidentiality. In particular, but without limitation, you must ensure that you either own the copyright in an image or any other content that you would like us to reproduce, or that you are fully licensed by the copyright owner to include that image or other content in our product. We reserve the right to decline to produce biscuits or gift messages that we deem to be inappropriate or offensive, at our sole discretion.
